Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 21, 2026  ·  Dice for iOS & macOS
We believe in transparency. Dice is a dice-rolling utility — not an ad platform. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name or email, and we do not sell your data. This policy explains what little data is stored locally on your device and how we handle your Dice Pro subscription.
01

Introduction

Dice ("we," "us," or "our") is a dice-rolling utility for iOS and macOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the app. By using Dice, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name or email, and we do not sell your data. The sections below explain the local data the app stores on your device and how subscriptions are handled through Apple.

02

Information We Collect

Dice does not collect any data from you. We do not use analytics, crash reporting services, or remote configuration — there are no third-party data collection SDKs in the app.

The only data that exists is stored locally on your device (see Section 3) and is never transmitted to us.

03

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device — it is never transmitted to us:

This information is removed when you delete the app.

04

Information We Do NOT Collect

05

How We Use This Information

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

06

Third-Party Services

Dice uses the following third-party services. Data they collect is governed by their own privacy policies:

We do not use advertising SDKs or ad networks.

07

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Dice Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store. All payment information is collected and processed by Apple — we never see your payment method, name, or billing address. Apple shares with us only the information required to confirm that you have an active subscription on your Apple ID.

08

Data Retention

Because we do not collect any data from your device, there is nothing for us to retain. The data stored locally on your device (see Section 3) remains there until you delete the app. Apple retains subscription receipt data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

09

Children's Privacy

Dice does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation and does not collect any data. If you have a concern about a child's use of the app, please contact us.

10

Your Rights

Because we do not collect any personal information, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA respectively — including the right to confirm that no personal data is held about you. Contact us using the email below with any such requests.

11

Security

Data sent to Apple for subscription verification is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS). All locally stored data lives within the app's sandbox on your device.

12

International Data Transfers

Apple may process subscription data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. By using the app, you consent to this transfer where required.

13

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
