1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the FoldOut: Cube Folding Puzzle app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro (the "App") and to this website. "FoldOut", "we", "us" and "our" mean the developer of the App.
FoldOut does not collect, transmit or store any personal information on our servers. In fact, we do not operate any servers for the App at all. Everything the App needs runs on your device.
2. Information we collect
None. The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information. It does not use advertising identifiers, does not track you across apps or websites, and contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising software.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or health data.
Because of this, the App's privacy label on the App Store is "Data Not Collected".
3. Data stored only on your device
To work properly, the App saves a small amount of information locally on your device. This information never leaves your device through the App, and we cannot access it.

If you use iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, this local data may be included in that backup as part of your device's normal backup process, under Apple's terms. The App itself does not sync data to iCloud or anywhere else.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
FoldOut Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's App Store. All payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your name, Apple Account email, card number or billing address.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to check, on your device, whether you have an active subscription. Apple provides the App with a signed transaction record (such as the product purchased and its expiry date), which is used only to unlock Pro features. Apple may share anonymised sales and subscription reports with us, which do not identify you personally.
Apple's handling of your purchase information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Third parties
The App does not include any third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics, advertising, social media or tracking. We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information with anyone, because we do not have any.
If you choose to share App-related diagnostics with developers through your device settings (for example, Apple's "Share with App Developers" option), Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports. These do not identify you, and you can turn this off at any time in your device's Privacy settings.
6. Children's privacy
FoldOut is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Because the App collects no personal information, it can be used by children without any data being shared with us.
7. Your choices and deleting your data
- Delete individual sessions: with FoldOut Pro, open History in the App, then tap the ••• button next to a session (or touch and hold it) and choose Delete Session.
- Delete everything: delete the App from your device. This permanently removes all of its local data, including your history and preferences.
- Cancel a subscription: manage or cancel FoldOut Pro at any time in your Apple Account settings. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give you rights to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, and to object to how it is processed.
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete or move. Your on-device data is fully in your control, as described above. If you have any questions about your rights, please contact us.
9. This website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not use cookies, analytics or advertising, and it loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It is never sent anywhere.
Like any web host, GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address when you visit, for security and to keep the service running. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete support emails when they are no longer needed.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. If a change means the App would begin collecting personal information, we will update the App's privacy label before that change ships and describe the change clearly here.
